Meallmore is a leading care provider, successfully delivering expert services for over 30 years. They have a network of 23 homes across Scotland offering residential care for the frail elderly and also adults with mental health problems or learning difficulties. While the majority of our homes focus on elderly care, four of them specialise in mental health care which is the intended use for the property

Gary Walton, Director at Walton HPC.   ‘We were first instructed by West Dunbartonshire Council back in 2011 to prepare a detailed Business Case and feasibility study for the council board.  This finally resulted in their new 90 bedroom care facility being built last year with a further new care home pending in Clydebank. Three care facilities within Dumbarton subsequently closed.   Two of the facilities are being sold for alternative use, but Langcraigs,  given its layout and size offered an attractive opportunity  for a care provider and  I am pleased to have brokered the sale to Meallmore having sold a  number of homes to them over the last 15 years.’

The property was sold off an asking price of £1.1M.
